Dear Prospective Parent,
On behalf of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school community. Our Lady of Guadalupe School is a Christ-centered school that provides an excellent academic and spiritual foundation for its students. We understand that these are critical years in your child’s development and we take seriously the partnership between the school and parents that calls us to care for each student as we form them both academically and spiritually.
Founded in 1956, Our Lady of Guadalupe School has educated children in La Habra and its surrounding area for over sixty years. The school’s purpose is to first develop the students’ relationship with Jesus and provide a faith filled community that is filled with respect. In addition to the faith aspect of Our Lady of Guadalupe School, students are encouraged to develop leadership skills that enable them to make decisions based on Christ’s teachings. Our Lady of Guadalupe School also fosters an academic environment in which students have a life-long love of learning that prepares them well for their future. This rigorous academic foundation provides them the skills to be successful in high school and beyond. Historically, OLG students attend a variety of high schools in the area, both public and private, with many of our students entering into honors level programs.
Our Lady of Guadalupe School provides more than a strong academic education. It is a place where each student is seen as an individual and through our nurturing environment is able to develop their God-given talents. In addition, an emphasis is placed on self-discipline and accountability and the development of positive relationships within the school community. Our Lady of Guadalupe School provides a unique opportunity for students and their families to build life-long friendships in a faith-filled community. Many of the people you meet here will be friends for life!
Thank you for your interest in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish School. We look forward to welcoming you as part of our school family.
